MAJOR J. C. WHITE CHOSEN AS DIRECTOR (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 2. A well-known Wellington barrister ana Territorial officer, Major J C White, has been appointed director of the New Zealand Army Legal Service.

Announcing this today, the AdjutantGeneral (Brigadier R. C. Querree) said that Major White had been promoted to lieutenant-colonel. His new position was a Territorial appointment.
