Salk Vaccine May Be Retested
(Rec. 11.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 22. The United States Government has proposed that all unreleased Salk vaccine be completely retested, even although it would halt the poliomyelitis inoculation programme for more than a month, a drug industry official said yesterday. The issue will be debated at a meeting of poliomyelitis experts and industry representatives in Washington tomorrow.
