DIVORCE SUIT
PETITIONER AWARDED £l5OO DAMAGES (New Zealand Press Association) . . , GISBORNE, May 20. A jury in the Supreme Court awarded £l5OO damages to Douglas John Rutherford, a salesman, of Gisborne, against Denis How Chow, a pastrycook, of Wellington, who was cited as co-respondent in a divorce suit. Mr Justice Turner entered,- judgment for the petitioner for w £lsoo against the co-respondent. His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, to Rutherford against his wife, Olga Joyce Pearl Rutherford, whom the found had committed adultery with the co-respondent, How Chow, in or about December, 1952.
