R.S.A. EXECUTIVE

Sir, —I consider Mr J. A. Eretherton should be congratulated for resigning from the executive of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association. Mr Bretherton realised the value of Mr Cornwell’s service while he was treasurer in clearing up the financial discrepancies, and his untiring efforts for the general welfare of all members. So why should the executive appeal to Mr Bretherton to withdraw his resignation. Is it to keep Mr Cornwell out? Yours, etc., V. H. REES. April 22, 1955.
