EXAMINATION OF PERFORMANCES
REPORT ON LAST EMPIRE GAMES
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 20. A sub-committee of the executive committee of the New Zealand and British Empire Games Association, consisting of Messrs F. S. Ramson and G. Craig, has prepared a report examining the performances of New Zealand competitors at the last Empire Games. The report is fo~ reference in assessing the judgment of national associations in making nominations for Olympic or Empire Games teams. The standard set by the country’s team members has been rated on a percentage basis for each national body according to their success. It is considered that over a number of Olympic or Empire Games the percentage results for each association could be calculated to give a reasonable indication of that association’s standard of judgment
After each Olympic or Empire Games the results gained will be prepared anc approved by the executive, and ample opportunity will be given for the representative of each sport concerned to criticise the findings before adoption.
