ACCIDENTS
MAN FATALLY INJURED KICKED ON HEAD BY HORSE (New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE, April 20. A roadman who had apparently been severely kicked by his horse was today found dead near Paparatu station, Waingake, 40 miles from Gisborne. He was Joseph Browne, aged about 60, a single man, who was employed by the Cook County Council at Mangapoike.
Mr Browne, who had been employed by the county for 11 years, lived alone. His horse had kicked him severely about the head.
