(New Zealand Press Association, , WELLINGTON, April 19. The executive committee of the New Zealand Table Tennis Association decided last night to make competitors in national championships conform with the requirements of entry and conditions associated with the winning of trophies. Engraving costs are defrayed by the national body, but the winning players have to have the work done.

Entries for the national inter-association teams’ tournaments for men and women will close on July 15, and entries for the New Zealand championships on July 29. Both series will be played at Napier from August 29 to September* 2, the teams’ matches taking place on the first two days.
