HAWARDEN-WAIKARI YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB The annual sheep dog trials of the Ha warden- Waikari Young Farmers’ Club were held on Mr H. C. A. Sidey’s pro- ? en °X is .C Weather conditions were ideal, and there was a good attendance ol Spectators and competitors. The judge (Mr J. c. Denham) congratulated the winners and commented on the hiffh standard of work. Results were:— Heading Class.—J. Inch’s Lou, 91 points, 1; M. M. Earls Moss, 90, 2; D. A. Earl’s Moss, 89, 3; J L. Hassall’s Cloud, 82, 4 Huntaway.—P. A. Carr’s Jipp, 91 points, 1; P. A. Carr’s Mack, 74, 2; J. Inch’s Storm, 67, 3; If. A. Eafl’s Ben. 63, 4. Driving.—J L. Hassall’s Cloud,' 99 points, 1; M. M. Earl’s Moss; 93, 2: J. A. Earl’s Joe. 92, 3; D. A. Earl’s Moss, 87, 4. The Taruna Challenge Cup for the highest aggregate points was won by D. A. Earl with 241 points, and J. Inch was runner-up with 220 points.
