TRAINER SEEKS TO QUASH VERDICT

wl L l ,’® ek to < ’ UMh w » recent conviction, which was a sequel to the taking of an analysed swab from Hutton at Te Rapa last December, on the ground that he was prevented from obtaining confirmatory analytical evidence. At the Waikato District Committee hearing, Muir was charged with corrupt practtces, and was disqualified for five years. Hutton was also disqualified from the race “ter which he was swabbed, the Miller Handicap.
