Minor Fires.—Firemen from the St. Albans and central stations of the Christchurch Fire Brigade put out a grass Are at 484 Cranford street yesterday. A fire tender from the Waimairi County Council also answered the call at 5.10 pun. There was no damage. At 7.16 p.m. there was a call to a fire in packing cases at the rear of premises at 81 Lichfield street. Four units from the central station answered the call. Only the cases were damaged.
