JUNIOR CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
1956 WORLD CONGRESS AT WELLINGTON
(New' Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 18. The international congress of Junior Chambers of Commerce would be held at Wellington between November 8 and November 13, 1956, said the president of the New Zealand chambers (Mr Keith Mitchell) today. It was proposed to set aside the evening of November 8 for the welcoming of delegates, and on the following morning there would be the official opening of the congress in the Town Hall.
Mr Mitchell said that every opportunity would be given to delegates to see something of the scenic beauties of New Zealand. It was not known how many overseas delegates would attend the congress, but having this country as the venue of the 1956 congress marked the recogpition of New Zealand’s efforts in the international I sphere of junior chambers of com-' meree.
