“MISS GREAT BRITAIN”
Departure For N.Z. Holiday (NtZ. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 15. “Miss Great Britain of 1954”—Miss Patricia Butler—sailed from Tilbury in the Rangitiki today for a long holiday in New Zealand. “I am just going to take a long holiday with the money I won. I hope to do some modelling as well,” she said shortly before sailing. Miss Butler, a 23-year-old professional model, and a former national ballroom queen, won £lOOO with the “Mias Great Britain" bathing beauty title last year. She expects her 24-year-old former Liverpool. boy friend to meet her when she lands at Auckland, and to stay for 18 months in New Zealand. Asked if she might be married when she returnd home, she replied: “I am not engaged as yet I am not sure, but I shall probably come back before my boy friend does.”
