COMMUNITY CENTRE AT KAIKOURA
BUILDING TO BE OPENED ON JUNE 24 An invitation to open the Kaikoura War Memorial Community Centre ia to be extended to the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) by the Kaikoura County Council. The opening date has been set for June 24. As part of the centre is built on Maori Reserve an Invitation is also to be sent to Mr E. T. Tirikatene. M.P. The centre, which is being constructed at a cost of £30,000. is situated alongside the county office and opposite the Garden of Memories.
