OLYMPIC FOOTBALL ENTRIES
BRITISH TEAM INCLUDED (N.z. Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, April 15. Britain tias entered an Association football team for the 1956 Olympics.
It is understood that 31 entries, including Nationalist China and Communist China, have been received by the International Football Federation. An official announcement is expected next week. Provisional entries have been received from East Germany and Iceland. East Germany’s entry cannot be accepted because its Olympic Committee has not yet been officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. It is expected that this problem will be discussed at the 1.0. C. Congress in Paris in June.
