MONKEYS FROM INDIA
EXPORTS AGAIN PERMITTED NEW DELHI, April 11. The Indian Government has agreeed to allow the export of 30,000 monkeys* to the United States up to the end of June, it was authoritatively learned today. The first batch of 800 will leave today by air for the American National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, which uses them in research work. The export of monkeys from India had been held up since last month, when the Government announced a strict control over their export after the death of a number of monkeys in transit.
