The engagement is announced of Rosemary Anne, only daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Chaffey, “Mount Possession,” Mount Somers, to Robin Stuart, elder son of Mrs Scoular and the late Dr. Stuart Scoular, of Napier. The engagement is announced of Eileen Bernadette, youngest daughter of Mr and the late Mrs J. Hyland, Bryndwr, to Mervyn Joseph, eldest son of Mr and Mrs L. E. Morrison, Spreydon. Mr and Mrs P. S. Seyb, Wairoa, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their eldest daughter, Patricia Lesley, to William Keith Allan, only son of Mr and Mrs W. K. Berry, of Otorohanga. The engagement is announced of Mary Frances Louise, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs F. C. Newton, Akaroa, to Robert George, only son of Mr and Mrs J. A. Grant, Palmerston North.
