T TOKYO. April 11. The Japanese Government has aet up an atomic energy division in its Technical Institute to conduct research on the peaceful uses pf atomic energy, it was officially announced today. Mr Sumio Hori, a 40-year-old member of the institute, was named as head of the new division.
Last year the government set aside *230,000,000 yen (£230.000) for atomic research, but little of the money was used.
