SPORTS MEETING AT KAIKOURA
BUSHCRAFT, CYCLING AND ATHLETICS
The Kaikoura Athletic and Cycling Club’s annual Easter sports were held on. Takahanga Domain on Saturday. The gate, £125, was a record. In the bushcraft section, D. R. Seymour (Inangahua) won the principal event, the 13-inch underhand chop, and the standing block chop. Christchurch riders dominated the cycling. The two miles Nelson-Marl-borough open championship was won by R. Richards (Christchurch). I. Hine, also of Christchurch, won the eight-lap race, was second in the two miles championship, and tjae 12-lap race, which was won by K. Giles (Christchurch). In the athletic section, A.
