APPLICATIONS FOR STATE HOUSES
INCOME QUALIFICATION RAISED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 22. The income qualification of applicants for State rental houses has been raised from £6BO to £7lO a year. Announcing this today, the Minister in charge of the State Advances Corporation (Mr W. Sullivan) said the change had been made because of the recent general wage increase.
