BENEFIT ENTERTAINMENT FOR MOTOR-CYCLIST
Four Christchurch motor-cycle clubs have combined to organise a social evening in aid of R. Boundy, a member of the Canterbury Auto-cycle Club, who lost the lower part of his left leg in a motor-cycle accident during the Mairehau motor races this month.
The Auto-cycle Club, the Corsair Motor-cycle Club, the New Brighton Motor-cycle Club and the Tai Tapu Motor-cycle Club will hold the social on the evening of March 17 in the Lawson street hall. Caterers and a dance band will give > their services free and the hall hire charge has been reduced to a nominal fee.
