WEATHER MAP

Sir,—l wish to thank you for giving your readers a good weather map, which should be of much benefit to those who make their living on the land. I have often found the need of one in planning out work a few days ahead. With a little careful study, its usefulness should become apparent.— Yours, etc., E. A. CLARKE. February 22, 1955. Sir,—Congratulations to “The Press” and Weather Office for the excellent daily weather chart. It will bring the science of a universal topic to the consciousness of all readers. People will now have the opportunity of studying/weather cycles and whether these are seasonal or whether they woRT in daily rotation or are just irresponsible storm centres originating from anywhere.—an absorbing subject.—Yours, etc., MATHEMATICAL.
