The trainer. Fred Hoysted, will advise the owner, Mr L. R. Spring, today to i scratch Rising Fast from the Alister* i Clark Stakes, states the Sydney "Daily Telegraph.” The Alister Clark Stakes (one mile and a quarter) will be run at Moonee Valley on Saturday. A report from Melbourne says that Rising Fast will give an exhibition gallop between races. W. Williamson will ride the champion. Hoysted said last night: "Rising Fast ; has improved remarkably since he arrived in Melbourne, but he has hardly had time to recover from the voyage , from New Zealand. He had a very hot trip in humid weather, and naturally lost . a little condition.” i T.A.B.
