MR HOLLAND HAS HEAVY COLD

LONDON ENGAGEMENTS CANCELLED

(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, February 21.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand (Mr Holland) spent a quiet week-end confined to his hotel with a heavy cold which caused him to cancel his visit to a paper mill in Kent and talks with the heads of New Zealand produce organisations in London. He also had to give up the idea of seeing the Thames River police at work. The Prime Minister has now recovered, and will see Mr Peter Thorneycroft, President of the Board of Trade, and Professor R. Matthew, a Scottish architect today. He hopes to visit the Pinewood Studios tomorrow, and to pay a visit to the paper mill before flying to Singapore on Wednesday. Among his other engagements are a private reception to be given for him by the High Commissioner (Mr T. C. Webb) and Mrs Webb at their residence, Cornwall terrace.
