CLERK SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January, 21. “It is sad to see a man of your age and record in such a position,” Mr J. S. Hanna, S.M., told Ronald Arnold Couper, aged 56, a clerk, in the Magistrate’s Court today, when Couper appeared for sentence oil a charge of failing to account for £394 12s 6d, the property of the Totalisator Agency Board. He was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment with hard labour.
