AUCKLAND LABOUR COUNCILLORS
SUMMONS TO PARTY MEETING (New Zealand Press Association)
AUCKLAND. January 21. The seven Labour members of the Auckland City- Council have been summoned to appear before the Labour Representation Committee on Thursday evening. At least three of them, it is understood, are to be charged with deviating from the party line. A circular received by the councillors today informed them that they had been “summoned to the next L.R.C. meeting to explain their actions in regard to the policy of the party.” The seven Labour councillors are Messrs P. T. Curran, W. Butler, J. N. Bradley A. J. R. Dreaver, G. F. H; Forsyth and Mesdames M. M. Dreaver and A. H. Dodd.
