BOY KILLED BY JELLYFISH
(Rec. 10 p.m.) BRISBANE, Jan. 20. A five-year-old boy collapsed and died today after being stung while bathing on a north Queensland beach. He was Daryll Miller, who was wading off a beach 100 miles north of Townsville when he was stung by what is described as a jellyfish. He ran screaming to his mother with huge weals already showing on his body, and with parts of the jellyfish in hft hair. He complained of severe stomach pains, and was hurried to • doctor, but was dead when he reached the surgery.
