. WELLINGTON, January 2. Three knighthoods are among the New Year honours conferred by- the Queen on New Zealanders. Mr I*., K- Munro, New Zealand Ambassador to the United States, is'made a Knight Commander of the Order 6f St. Michael and St. George, MajorGeneral W. H. Cunningham a Knight Commander of the British Empire and Mr Justice Finlay a Knight Bachelor. The Governor-General (Lieutenant-General Sin Willoughby Norrie) has been commanded by the Queen to announce that Her Majesty has been pleased, on the occasion of the New Year, to confer the honours:—
