TRAMPING CLUB OUTING
Twenty-nine members of the Christchurch Tramping Club yesterday tramped from Diamond Harbour to Purau and up the Purau valley to the waterfall After lunch they divided into two groups. one returning by the same route and the other following the main ridge over Mount Herbert bark to Diamond Harbour. Seven other trampers went over to the Tom Cundell Hut at the head of the Port Levy and Western valleys and joined the main party at lunch time. )
