AWARD OF ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
Entrance scholarships to St. Andrew’s College have oeen won by M. D. Brown (Phillipstown School) 3121 marks, and A. D. Orchard (Fendalton School) 2691 marks. . The next candidates in order were: P.‘F. Clark (Heaton Street Intermediate School), 2541: E. R. Highett (Fendalton School), 2484; G. Egan (Papanui School), 2471; J. A. Hill (Heaton Street Intermediate School) , 2351. The internal scholarship was won by G. R. Joyce with 2941 marks. The next candidates in order were W. B. Fisse, 280; and J. M. Stubberfleld, 254.
