To create an appearance of smartness or, more accurately perhaps, to give that “obviously well-dressed" look, there is nothing quite as useful as an edge-to-edge coat providing it is of good quality and has been properly cut. With such a coat in a good neutral shade, the simplest little frock can be worn underneath it and the effect created is that of a smart and expensive ensemble. This week, a small selection of these edge-to-edge coats arrived at Anthony Andersen, Ltd., the centre for exclusive wear for women, at 81 Cashel street (near the Bridge of Remembrance). They are restricted in sizes (only W.X. to X.O.S. fittings are available), but they are in a very good quality wool repp, and the shades—junior blue, black, and mid-grey—will make them eagerly sought-after. —Advt
