39 COMPETITORS IN AUCKLAND EVENT LONG HILL SECTIONS (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. October 2 Some of New Zealand’s best long-dis-tance road cyclists are among the by competitors in the Dominion’s second six-day cycle race, which will begin at Auckland on Monday morning. Great public interest is being taken in the gruelling 554-mile race around the southern half of the Auckland province, and it is expected that thousands will line the road in the various centres to watch the cyclists.
