NEW REHABILITATION COMMITTEE MEETS
The inaugural meeting of the Canterbury District Rehabilitation Committee was held recently. This committee has taken over the duties and functions of the various local rehabilitation committees in the Canterbury district, which were disbanded last March. The district rehabilitation officer at Christchurch (Mr J. B. Pearson) said that each district now had its own rehabilitation representative, and that former servicemen should not hesitate to avail themselves of his advice. The district representatives on the committee are: G. W. Dell, Christchurch; S. A. Coleman, Christchurch; J. N. Clarke, Christchurch; R. Donovan, Akaroa; W. G. Welsh, Ashburton; D. H. Milne, Cheviot; M. E. Jenkins, Darfleld; A. J. Kennedy, Geraldine; A. Cowie, Hawarden; R. W. Wylie, Kaiapoi; E. F. Smith, Leeaton; F. J. Gorton, Oxford; E. E. Oakley, Rakaia; C. W. Tyler, Rangiora; G. A. Harris, Temuka* A. S. Kinsman, Timaru; and W. F. Boland, Waimate.
