VIENNA BOYS’ CHOIR
22 MEMBERS ARRIVE IN CHRISTCHURCH Tired, but otherwise none the worse for a bus journey from Blenheim. 22 members of the Vienna Boys’ Choir arrived in Christchurch early last evening to give a series of four concerts. After its tour of New Zealand some months ago, the choir spent 14 weeks in Australia. Many of the boys have picked up English well, and most of them have acquired a “pretty fair knowledge of slang," according to their prefect (Mr C. Lange). Jn, Christchurch the visitors will stay at St. Joseph’s Boys’ Home, Halswell They will leave for Timaru on Friday morning. 3
