PREMISES ENTERED
SAFE REMOVED IN VAN Between 11 p.m. on Saturday and 4.45 a.m. yesterday, the premises of Christchurch Rental Cars, Ltd., at 70 Hereford street, were entered and a safe removed in a van owned by McKenzie and Willis,- Ltd., which was stored in the premises. The safe was recovered yesterday morning in the Kaiapoi district. The back of the safe had been ripped open and the police report that approximately £lOO in money was taken. The van was recovered undamaged at Fendalton.
