Clarence River Bridge.— The district traffic manager of the Railways Department at Christchurch has advised the Automobile Association that during the Labour Day week-end the Clarence river rail and road bridge will be open for road traffic at the following times; from 9.15 p.m. on Friday, October 22, to 12.30 a.m. Saturday, October 23; from 4.15 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, to 12.5 p.m., Monday, October 25; From 8.25 p.m. on Monday, October 25, to 2.45 a.m., Tuesday, October 28.
