SURVEY OF GOVERNMENT’S ADMINISTRATION
A survey of public administration during the last five years has been issued by the Dominion headquarters of the New Zealand National Party. The 150-page booklet summarises most aspects of government activity and gives a chronicle of legislation and major events since 1250.
Major industries are treated at length with summaries of financial, legislative and technical aspects, and the work of government departments is described, The book is divided into 44 sections and it is fully indexed.
A section on agriculture is subdi. vided into descriptions of livestock in. crease, taxation, rabbit control, machin. ery, housing financial measures, the wool and meat industry, dairying, wheat growing and aerial topdressing' Like other sections, it is supported by statistical information. Most sections include notes on major legislative changes and Government policy.
