H-Bomb Dust Victim Seriously Ill
Rec. 10 p.m.) TOKYO, Sept. 23. A Japanese fisherman who was “dusted” by a radioactive fall-out in an American hydrogen bomb test last spring, was reported to be sinking rapidly today, and physicians said that symptoms of pneumonia have appeared.
A bulletin issued at 0.15 a.m. G.M.T. today said that “the weakening of the entire body continues.”
Yesterday a Japanese doctor said the fisherman, who may become the world's first hydrogen bomb victim, “is in the worst condition.”
