VISIT BY CZECH CHURCHMAN
DR. HROMADKA TO SPEAK IN CHRISTCHURCH
A distinguished Czechoslovak churchmen. Dr. Joseph L. Hromadka, will visit Christchurch next week under the sponsorship of the National Council of Churches. Dr. Hromadka, who is a member of the central committee of the World Council of Churches and a vice-president of the World Presbyterian Alliance, will address a public meeting in St Paul's Presbyterian Church' on the evening of September 7. Dr. Hromadka, who is now attending the Evanston assembly of the World Council of Churches, will be one of the first delegates to address New Zealand audiences about it The assembly will finish tomorrow and Dr. Hromadka will arrive at Auckland from California on September 5. The day after visiting Christchurch he will fly to Australia for a tour and then return to New Zealand for five days on September 30.
