Britain's big press lords are lining up their resources to battle tor the pennies of millions of schoolage readers with new children’s newspapers, expected next week. There are 6,000,000 children of school age, and London’s two biggest selling newspapers, the “Dally Mirror” and the "Daily Express," are after readers vHth junior weekly editions. The “Daily Mirror,” ( which sells more than 4,500,000 copies dally, was the first in the field with the announcement of a children’s special. Publication date was given as September 10. Then the “Daily Express”—with a daily sale of more than 4,000.000 jumped in with a publication data eight days earlier for its "Junior Express.” ’ The "Daily Mirror” caihe back with the promise of a 16-page junior edition on sale for twopence next week at the same time as the "Junior Express.”
