£15,000 WON IN LOTTERY
FORMER CHRISTCHURCH RESIDENT (New Zealand Press Association) „ AUCKLAND, August 22. Mr Harold Clough, an engine-driver, of Rangaroa, Taumarunui, was advised on Sa tl ! rda y that he had won £15.000 in a lottery. But instead of celebrating his win, Mr Clough went off to work that night on a shift which will keep him away from home until tomorrow.
He told Mrs Clough that he planned to “keep calm about it all” until'he saw the money in hi, hand. Mr Clough, who • has three small daughters, has been with the Railways Department for 17 years.
