CANTERBURY BEATS NELSON The Canterbury schoolboys’ team was too strong for the Nelson side and retained the Hatch Cup by 6 goals to 0 in a match on Saturday In which the home side had the better of the Play all through. Canterbury used a strong right-wing attack, and from one of these moves Steventon scored. He scored again a little later, to make the half-time score: Canterbury 2, Nelson 0. In spite of solid defence Nelson could not hold out the attackers in the second spell. One goal came from a penalty bully, and B. Monk scored three. Messrs K. Hamilton and N.
