South Wales by 2 goals to 0, at the New castle Sports Ground, yesterday. The team has won 20 of its 22 games drawn one and lost one. It has scored 113 goals to 20. In yesterday’s game, except in the first 11 minutes, New Zealand was superior in all movements and showed better combination. Bygrave scored both goals in the first half. . The first came when Tynan crossed near the goal and the goalkeeper, Hudson, missed. Bygrave scored again when Hobson made a short pass to him in the circle.
