DUNEDIN INVITATION TO LANDY AND GOSPER (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 12. The Australian world record miler, John Landy, and the Empire Games 440 yards record-holder, Kevan Gosper, will be invited to compete at Dunedin at a sports meeting planned during festival week from January 29 to February 5 next year. TECHNICAL COLLEGE CLUB The annual general meeting of the Christchurch Technical College Amateur Athletic Club was held this week. Mr F. H. Dephoff presided and congratulated the club on Its success last season. Opening day was set down for October 2. Officers elected were:—patron, Mr D. W. Lyall; president, Mr F. H.
