RESTRICTIONS ON BUILDING SECTIONS
Sir, —I quite agree with your correspondents, “8.L.,” “Gar,” and “Curious,” about back sections. I have one in a much sought-after area, two and a half miles from the Square and five minutes’ walk to the nearest shopping centre. This section is 28 perches, with a drive 16 feet wide. It faces north and is well fenced and gets all the sun that shines. As I am getting on in years and do not enjoy the best of health, I decffied to sell it; but the council says “No,” as the section has to be 30 perches and the drive 20 feet wide.—Yours, etc., WHAT ROT.
