Naval Dockyard Craft.— An assault landing craft purchased by the New Zealand Navy from Australia in March, 1953, has been renamed Lander I. She is being used as a dumb lighter. Machinery for the craft is on its way to New Zealand and the Lander I will be self-propelled soon.’
