RANGE OF NEW ZEALAND PRICES (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 11. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board advises that the Smithfield market opened quietly after the bank holiday. Only a small quantity of New Zealand chilled beef was available in time for the Thursday market which realised Id per lb under Argentine values. Mutton and lamb values were firmer, and veal and pork quietly steady. • The range of prices for New Zealand
meat was:— Per lb. d. d. BeefChilled hindquarters .. 30 to 31 Chilled forequarters .. 18 to 19 Frozen hindquarters .. 22 to 26 Frozen forequarters .. 14 to 17 MuttonWethers .. .. .. 12 to 16 Ewes .. .. .. 10 to 12 Lamb .. .., .. 26 to 28
