SOUTHERN JUMPERS IN ACTION.—Glenlivet (M. H. Hillis), on left, and Sentinel (W. J. Hillis) ending an eventful round of the Riccarton steeplechase course at Cutts’s. Both ran off at the second of the kennels double in a mix-up with other horses, but they finally mastered that jump—Sentinel at his third attempt and Glenlivet at his second. Both are owned and trained by W. E. Hazlett, Invercargill.
