A NARROW WIN AT TRENTHAM.—Dormant (No. 6) beating Berne in the Winter Oats, the principal flat race and first leg of the double on the final day of the Wellington winter meeting on Saturday. The camera gave Dormant victory by a nose. Topmast, the favourite, was three-quarters of a length back third. The other horse in the picture is Elixir (fourth), winner of the Parliamentary Handicap on the second day of the meeting.
