TRIAL CAR’S WINDSCREEN CRYSTALLISED BY STONES.—Len Hansen, driver of the last car to leave Sydney in the Redex 9600-mile reliability trial round Australia, arrives at Meekatharra, Western Australia. Stones thrown up by other cars crystallised the windscreen glass, which Mr Hansen broke to ensure visibility.
