WIFE OF KABAKA OF BUGANDA
REQUEST TO LEAVE
ROYAL PALACE (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) KAMPALA, June 5. Demali, the 23-year-old Queen of Buganda, whose husband, the exited Kabaka is living in London, has been asked to leave the Royal Palace of Mengo, near Kampalam. The Government said she was a symbol of the Kabaka’s past authority white she remained in the palace. The Government has forbidden the Queen to communicate witti chiefs because she has been writing them letters seeking their help to keep up the “We Want Our Kabaka Back” campaign.
